Safety testing runs periodically, per batch rather than on every lot — heavy metals by ICP-MS, microbial counts (TAMC/TYMC), and bacterial endotoxin under USP <85>, reported in EU/vial. Every measured value, including labeled versus actual mass, is recorded on that lot's Certificate of Analysis.

A Certificate of Analysis (CoA) is the lab report for a specific lot. It lists the measured purity, the identity confirmation, net peptide content, and — for batches that have been safety-tested — screens for heavy metals, sterility, and endotoxin.
